"Have a good weekend," he said. Selene raised herself up on her tip-toes and kissed Peter gingerly on the cheek.
"Thanks," she said, "you too." He nodded. "I'll see you Monday."
Peter could have sworn that he saw her wink before she turned. She flounced away, her skirt rising up and down ever so slightly with each step as she walked out the door of the classroom. Once the door had closed behind her Peter took a deep sigh, sat down behind his desk and prepared to go home.
