I inadvertently jumped as the second bit of rubber in three minutes was thrown at the back of my head. There was only one guy behind me - I knew who it was. Jason Night. He was an absolute knobhead. Most of the time, I ignored him, this time, however, he was really pissing me off.

"What do you actually think you're playing at?" I said, as I swivelled round in my chair and turned to face him.

"Don't know what you are talking about," he said, letting a cocky grin play on the corner of his lips.

"Well, do it one more time and Darren will make sure you never do it again soon as lesson is over," I scowled and turned back round to listen to Mrs Brown chortle on about Electrolysis.

Darren was my long-term boyfriend. I'm 18 and he's 21, we've been boyfriend and girlfriend for the past two years without many lapses. If I wanted him to incapacitate loser behind me, he could, and would do it - no questions asked.

Darren is 6ft ish, very toned, has cute messy blonde hair and a smile that is to die for. If he was a little bit more intelligent, he would be the whole package. But, whatever, he suited me just fine right now.

The lesson was coming to an end and I was actually quite thankful that Jason hadn't thrown any more rubber at me, because, to be honest, I didn't really want to have to ask Darren to beat him to a pulp. But, just as I was about to reach for my bag, I felt the rubber flick against my neck.

I turned round and tried to look sympathetic, which wasn't really hard 'cause you have to feel sorry for anyone who's in trouble with my boyfriend and said "I did warn you," then casually walked out of the room, and ran straight into Darren's waiting arms.

It wasn't unusual for Darren to wait outside my classes. He spent a lot of his time outside on the football pitch, and didn't have many classes anymore, so he waited for me outside mine. He likes to get his fix.

"Hey babe," he said, and pulled my face to his for a kiss that was way too long and intimate for a public place. But he didn't care.

"Uh, hi," I said, when he pulled a way, leaving me a little breathless. What he lacked in the brains department, he certainly made up for in the "making me feel woozy with one kiss" department.

"Hey, Jason Night kept chucking stuff at my head in that lesson, d'ya think maybe you could make him think twice about doing it again, babe?"

"Sure," he said, and then gave me another way too long kiss before telling me he had to go get ready for his match in ten minutes and running off down the corridor, leaving me a little bit confused.

That day went by relatively easily and when I came in the next day, Jason had a really blue eye, courtesy of Darren and his mates, no doubt.

This time, I was the one with the cocky smiles when he looked over at me, but was hoping to ignore him for the rest of the lesson.

Mrs Brown, however, had other ideas.

"Right, you lot, you have to get into pairs for this exercise. Please work with the person next to you. Sara, you can work with Jason because Lindsay and Josh aren't here today,"

Shit!

"Hey, Sara, is it cold in here or are you just pleased to see me?"

I looked at him questioningly and saw him ogling my boobs only to see that oh-so conveniently, my nipples had decided to make a show.

"Yeah, right, 'cause you just have that effect on me," I said, scowling. "Go and get the equipment," I said, and was surprised that he immediately got off his feet and did as I told him.

The atmosphere was very frosty between us and I kept dropping stuff, much to his delight.

"Jesus, grow up!" I finally said, and mentally kicked myself when I felt a tear of frustration roll down my cheek. Quickly, I brushed it away, hoping he hadn't seen. He just went very quiet until a few minutes later.

"Listen, Sara, I'm sorry about being a jerk yesterday, I'm just having a tough time at the moment - but I shouldn't have taken it out on you, and I shouldn't have wound you up before. Erm, I guess I was out of order,"

"Yeah, you were," I said, smirking with satisfaction on the inside but staying cool on the outside.

"Do you accept my apology?"

"Depends on if we get a good grade on this experiment,"

"I'd better get working then!" He said, winking at me and giving me a glimpse of his cocky grin again.

As I watched him work, I couldn't help but notice that he was quite hot. Sure, he was no Darren but he had a really nice bone structure and I would almost describe his grey eyes as verging on beautiful. His nose was slightly crooked, but it kind of worked like that and, no, he wasn't as ripped as Darren, but his muscles were just nice, they suggested he could look after himself, but they didn't show off too much.

I was almost regretting getting Darren to do that to his face.

When Mrs Brown came round, she smiled and told use we had done an excellent job?

"Forgiven?" Jason said, turning to me and pouting like a spoilt five year old.

I laughed. "Yeah, I guess you are," I said, smiling at him and noticing how twinkly and gorgeous his grey eyes had gone.

"Good," he said, returning my smile.

Just as he was walking out, I called his name. He turned round, expectantly.

"Uh, Jason, I'm sorry about... that." I said, pointing to his eye.

"Yeah, uh, no big deal - I asked for it," he said, smiling.. but the sparkle just wasn't there.

Well, whatever, what was I meant to do? How was I to know that he'd turn out all reasonable and nice in the end? No one could've told me that... at least I had apologised... It really was a shame he had the mark there though, no matter how insincere his acceptance of my apology had been.

I lay in bed that night and found myself thinking about Jason. He had been lovely.

I stroked my hands down my body, and, for the first time since I had started dating Darren, thought of someone else as I played with myself.

Gently rubbing my clit, I came hard thinking of him kissing me and loving me. My last thoughts before I fell asleep were of how nice a lover he would be.

The next day was Saturday, which meant I had to spend most of the day watching Darren playing football. It's not that I don't enjoy watching his gorgeous body run around a pitch for 90 minutes at a time, it just gets very repetetive.

I took my seat in the stands and put my headphones in and idly started daydreaming, smiling everytime Darren scored and turned to wink at me.

"Share a headphone with a poor guy who got his crushed?" I looked up to see Jason and couldn't help but smile at how dopey and friendly he looked.

"Yeah, sure... crushed?" I said, and he looked over at Darren

"Thanks," he said, sitting down next to me and leaning closer than normal so the headphone would stretch. I saw how his eyes had gone all twinkly again.

"Oooh, Radiohead, nice music taste, Harper!" he grinned.

"Hmm.. you think? I had you down as more of a 50 cent kinda guy,"

"Nope, I went through that phase when I was 10. It didn't really... stick like I think it did with most of the other guys here," I inadvertently raised one eyebrow as he said this.

"Choose a song then," I said perkily, handing him my iPod.

"If you insist," he replied, taking it in his hands. I guess this kinda counted as flirting. But I didn't care. I liked this guy, and so what if we flirted, nothing would actually come of it - Darren wouldn't let it.

"There!" he exclaimed and I waited to here what song he had chosen.

I squealed in delight when Heavyweight Champion of the World came on by Reverend and the Makers.

"Oh my God, Jase, this is one of my favourite ever songs!"

"Really? Mine too," he sounded surprised and almost amused as he said it, but that could have been because I'd gotten on my feet to start dancing, but had to keep my head low so the earphones still stretched, probably, and I realised this way too late to do anything about it, giving him an eyeful of my perky breats.

"Dance with me?" I asked.

He smiled. A twinkly smile.

"Sure," he said, and without further ado, I pulled him up and we started jumping around like maniacs - maniacs who were splitting one set of headphones between them and therefore, had to keep their heads very close together.

I was out of breath by the time the song finished. I looked up at Jason, who was now stood very very close to me. I turned to face him and he took another step towards me. One of his hands stretched up to my cheek and it lay there, barely touching me, but driving me crazy for a few seconds.

Oh so slowly, he lowered his lips towards mine and we gently kissed. His lips barely even touched mine. His kiss was so soft, so different from Darren. Darren's kisses were rough and needy and he pulled his whole body flush against mine. But Jason didn't. It was beautiful, and I couldn't help the need I felt to kiss him back.

It was only when the whistle blew for half time that I actually realised where I was.

"Shit! Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!" I stepped backwards and away from Jason, tears forming in my eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"Erm, my boyfriend had better not have seen that or he'll do worse than give you a black eye,"

"Oh, yeah, your boyfriend..." he said, as the twinkle faded and his dreamy look became more composed.

"I'll be right back,"

"'Kay,"

I ran down to where the players were stood. goofily punching each other on the shoulder and joking.

"Hey, babe," Darren said when he saw me, and pulled me towards him. He leant down for a kiss, but I turned my head, so he met my cheek.

"Uh, what's up, Sara?" he said, pulling back and looking down on me.

"I just... I just, uh, I don't feel very well, I might go home - do you mind?"

"Well, no I guess not, call me, yeah?"

"Sure,"

I walked back to the stand to see Jason sitting there with my iPod. I hated lying to Darren. Although, it wasn't really lying, so to speak, because I did feel sick.

"Come on, you're driving me home," I said when I reached him.

"Wh-?" he began, but I took his hand and pulled him up, making him smile. "Of course I am," he said, and gave me the twinkly look that made me melt.

Erm, yep...

...we are.

The whole point is that her bloke is a bit of an arse, and that's why she strays.

I have been with my gf since I was 15 with one 6month break. I'm at uni now. When we've been together, we've always been faithful.

So, yeah, actually, we are.
