Mistale rushed to him, grabbing her skin of water. She bathed the sweat from his brow and checked his other wounds. The gaping hole to his midsection had knitted nicely. Once again, she called to her hand a healing light and pressed it to his flesh. The redness surrounding it, making it look angry, disappeared, dissolving into the blackest obsidian flesh she'd ever laid eyes on.

The day had exhausted her. She slipped under the blankets next to the unconscious dark elf, seeking peace in the arms of reverie.

Just loved it!

As my title says I just loved this story, the banter between the two main characters so far is different he certainly has the rats with her and I'm looking forward to learning why he is like that and so hostile to her, the story really kept my attention and is well written.

Next chapter please!
