Where to run to, what to do, who could she trust? Years of not belonging as she grew up, and the years of her husband's treatment of her had made her feel so isolated, and the only people she felt she had any real connection to was Mrs Jackson who was dying and soon be gone, and Chris who was the lover of that horrible girl tonight, and she hardly really knew him.
Yet again she was really on her own. Belonging to no-one.
Alone.

marklionabout 14 years agoYou wrote another super chapter in the series. I like to twist with Trish causing Lauras to worry what she said to Robert. I hope Trish doesn't cause problems for Laura so that she cannot get away from Robert. I can hardly wait to read the next chapter.
