The police had informed him that he was a key witness and had to be there for the trial, but he knew he had to get away from everything, the pressure was building and he needed to run, to get on his bike and go where ever it led him. The police had his mobile number and they could contact him if they needed him, but the open road beckoned him to assuage all his pain, to escape and help him to relax.
As soon as the contract was finished he would go.
