~*~

Lily sat at her desk, looking out the window, totally bored! She knew she should finish typing up the letter her boss wanted to send to his old childhood buddy.

"This is nuts! It's his friend! He should just send it handwritten, or type it up himself!"

At work, Lily was all business. This was not business. But she went back to typing like a good little girl. Actually, this isn't the first time she's done this for her boss. Or the second. Or the... Lily lost count! She liked her boss. Nice, easy going, but felt he was a bit immature even though he had a little more than 10 years on her, being in his 50's. But, he was new to being a boss, having only been running "Daddy's" company since the old guy passed away 5 years ago. Her boss does an O.K. job, but hasn't "brought anything new to the table" as they say. As Lily finished typing, Mr. King came up to her desk.

"Oh, is that my letter? Well, I won't be needing it now! Ahhaha! Clay just phoned me, he's flying in for the 4th. Said he can't wait to be back in the old neighborhood for a good fireworks display! You'll love him, real great guy! Says he'll rent a car and meet me here, tomorrow, after he's done with customs and all. Man! Can't wait to see him! Been like... well, not since my "Old Man" past away."

Lily was about to respond, when Mr. King just went back into his office. She thought that he didn't want her to see how upset he was by remembering the funeral. But just then, as his office door closed, she could hear Mr. King yelling,

"Yes! Clay is coming! Woo-hoo!"

Lily sighed and looked at the clock. The clock that seemed to slow down as she kept staring at it.

"50 minutes to go till freedom! Then, we get to do it all over again tomorrow. What joy!" Lily couldn't help but giggle at her sarcastic tone.

~~

On her drive home, she found herself thinking about her boss' friend Clay. Wondering what he was like. Mr. King talked about him all the time. About the things they had done when they were kids, in school, college. The girls they dated. She knew that was inappropriate talk for the workplace, but she couldn't help being intrigued by some of the stories.

There was one, especially, that had made Lily tingle a little in the bottom of her stomach. Like when you drive down a hill real fast. Nothing much was said in the story, but it sure had Lily aching with wonder. She tried to recall her boss' words.

"Oh, and on this one date Clay and I doubled on in college... these two girls, sisters, MAN! SMOKIN'! Anyway, the one I was with, eh, pretty tame.

But Clay's, WHEW! She was a bad girl if you know what I mean?! But, that's O.K. Clay knew how to take care of those! And he did, frequently! Ahhaha!"

And that's when the tingling started, with her boss's emphasis of the words "bad girl", "take care of" and "frequently". She didn't quite understand what it all meant, but for some reason, it excited her. She just hoped Mr. King didn't notice.

Even now, remembering the story, Lily can feel the tingling. Only, this time, it was a little lower down than her stomach.

Friday morning came too soon. Lily was tired. She stayed up awfully late watching the stupidest movie. But she couldn't make herself turn off the T.V. and go to bed. Even though she and her boyfriend had been broken up for 2 years, Lily just couldn't get used to sleeping alone. Rex was a very nice guy, sweet. Sometimes, too sweet. When they fought, Lily could feel the anger rising from her toes and up through her body and settle in her face, making it all red and hot. Rex, he just let out a breath that he didn't even appear to be holding, and would say something like...

"Lily, you're right." or "Lily, you're way is better. I know that now." or "Lily, I'm sorry, it is my fault."

This just infuriated Lily further! Not because Rex said this to get her to stop arguing, not because he was just trying to please her, but Lily felt he actually believed she was right, that her way was better, that he thought all their fights were his fault! Lily's friends thought she was crazy for dumping Rex.

"He worships you! Like a princess!" said JoyAnn, her best friend, "Do you know how many woman would kill for that?!"

Lily had just sighed, "I know. And it was sweet, in the beginning. But... I'm not a princess! And sometimes... I... I would rather be treated like... one of the peasants! No, one of the slaves!"

As soon as Lily said that, she wanted to take it back. That wasn't right.

She did not want to be treated like a slave.

"Are you serious?!!" exclaimed Joyann, whose eyes went wide. She was as shocked to hear that word as Lily was.

"No, I'm not. Not really. Not a slave. But definitely not a princess either. Not all the time."

~~

Lily walked into the office, set her purse in her desk drawer, and went to make a pot of coffee. Just as she was about to dump the coffee into the filter, she thought she heard laughter coming from Mr. King's office. But he didn't usually come in till around 8 or 8:30 a.m. Lily thought and went up to his door to listen.

The door was open just enough for Lily to see a very handsome man, who looked to be in his mid to late 50's, sitting on the edge of Mr. King's desk. She couldn't hear his voice. It was too soft. But he must have been telling a joke, or a funny story, because soon she heard a bellow of laughter that she recognized as her boss'. Just then, the handsome man's eyes locked with hers. He stood up, said something, and then the door flew open!

"Lily! Excellent!" exclaimed Mr. King and signaled her to enter the room. "I would like you to meet my very best, and oldest friend, Clay. He was actually calling from the plane, on his way here, when we spoke yesterday! Got in late last night! Sneaky bastard!" Mr. King laughed and punched Clay on the arm. Clay looked slightly amused, but still hadn't taken his eyes off of Lily. He stepped toward her, holding out his hand in greeting, and in a soft voice said, "Hello Lily. It's nice we finally meet. I've been hearing a lot about you."

"All good I hope?" Lily smiled and shook his hand. It was soft too, but very firm. There was a spark when they touched, they both felt it. They felt this heat, yet both shivered.

"Yes, and that is a shame!" This time, when Clay spoke, Lily thought she almost heard a growl in his voice. And what did he mean by "that is a shame?" She felt that tingle again. And, again, not in her stomach.

"Well Lily, great news! No work today! Breakfast! Hope you haven't eaten yet?" Mr. King grinned when Lily informed them she hadn't. Clay, who was still holding Lily's hand, smiled. And Lily was in love. No, she wasn't. That's silly! She's barely met this man! Lily's heart let out a sigh. And she thought, I bet that soft, firm, hand would feel nice holding her breast! His thumb, grazing over her nipple, ever so lightly. Pinching the nipple, getting it nice and har... "Quit that!" Lily thought to herself.

She knew she was being ridiculous. She was horny. That's all, just horny. It's been 2 years since she's had sex. Since she broke up with Rex, there hasn't been anyone.

Clay smiled at her again. In such a way, Lily thought for sure he knew what she was thinking. Her face felt hot and she knew she was blushing. Clay chuckled.

~~

Breakfast had been wonderful! It wasn't the food, although that had been good, the best blueberry pancakes she'd ever eaten, it was Clay. Lily couldn't get the image of his hand on her breast out of her mind. Seeing him squeeze one breast, then the other. Gently, but not too gently, playing with her nipples. And as Lily saw Clay about to take a bite of his pancake, she imagined that it was her nipple about to enter his mouth.

His tongue swirling around it, getting it really, really, har...

"Lily? Lily, you O.K.?" Mr. King's voice snapped Lily out of her daydream. Embarrassed, she replied,

"Yes, I was just listening!"

"Well, not very well! Clay was asking if you wanted to escort him on his trek around town tonight? I can't, got lots of paperwork I forgot about!"

"Yes, maybe take in a show? Have some dinner? Or..." Clay smiled as his voice trailed off.

Lily wiggled a little in her seat. She wondered what he had meant by "or"? Or what? And what "paperwork" did her boss have? There were no projects coming up, no meetings to be set up. Nothing! But, Lily didn't really care,

"Yes, I'd love to... "trek around town" with you." she was going on a date with Clay.

Clay was right on time. 7 p.m. Lily greeted him at the door wearing a raspberry-pink sundress, it looked very nice against her lightly tanned skin. Underneath, she had on her favorite, strapless, bra and matching panties. They were purple, with a purple lace and sequin butterfly in the center of each. Lily couldn't help but wonder if Clay would see them tonight. She imagined him caressing her bare shoulders. Then slowly, lowering the straps of her dress. Unbuttoning the few buttons at the top and letting the dress fall to the floor. He'd admire her standing before him. Longing to see what was hiding beneath her remaining garments.

His hands aching to touch her breasts, rub her nipples, feeling them get har...

"Lily?" Clay said, startling her back to reality.

"Yes? Sorry! Please, come in!" Lily felt her face get hot again. She really hoped Clay hadn't noticed this time.

As Clay entered the house, he handed Lily a bouquet of Tiger Lilies and Baby's breath. Lily let out a little gasp.

"These are my favorite! How did you..."

Clay, all of a sudden feeling nervous, interrupted and said,

"Joseph told me. Said he overheard you tell one of your girlfriends that your boyfriend kept giving you a different kind of flower each time you went out, when you were first dating. And you didn't have the heart to tell him you didn't care much for flowers. Except for Tiger Lilies. The orange ones. Even though pink is your second favorite color.

Next to purple." Clay smiled, but knew he'd been talking too fast. And he hoped Lily didn't think him weird for knowing all this, remembering it.

"Joseph?" Lily asked, puzzled.

"Your boss, Mr. King?!" Clay chuckled.

"Ohh! I forgot that was his name!" then Lily giggled. And Clay said,

"I know, his parents should be shot! But, he's always lived up to his name, in character!" Clay chuckled again as they went to sit on the sofa to chat for a few minutes.

Then Clay noticed, and picked up, the hairbrush Lily had left on the coffee table.

He tapped it against the palm of his other hand.

"Mmm, has a nice weight to it." Then he smiled.

Lily was a bit confused as to why, but there was that tingling sensation again. It made her wiggle, like in the restaurant at breakfast this morning.

"You O.K. Lily?" Clay said, still smiling, still tapping the brush against his hand.

"Yes. I'm fine. Shall we go?" As Clay set the brush back down on the table, Lily felt a little strange, kind of, empty.

"Yes, let's. It's a gorgeous night for a stroll." Clay had suggested, at breakfast, that they should take a walk around town and then grab some Chinese take-out. There was a nice little lake, not too far from Lily's, that everyone picnicked at, day or night. It was so beautiful when the moon was bright and full, like it was tonight. They stepped outside. While Lily shut and locked the door, she took a deep breath, catching the faint smell of...

"Mmm, Honeysuckle."

"Maybe I should have gotten you those instead of the Tiger Lilies?" Clay said, enjoying the way Lily's breasts moved as she took in the fragrant night air.

"Oh no, these are perf..." Lily realized she was still holding the flowers Clay had given her. "Perfect! My mother, she loves all lilies. Hence, my name."

"It's a lovely name! You're lovely!" Clay started feeling nervous again. Like a teenager on his first date. And while it's been quite a bit since he'd been out on a date... wait, was this a date? He had asked her, brought her flowers. They will share a meal. God he hoped this was a date! He thought. He'd been fantasizing about Lily since he'd seen her in a company Christmas photo Joseph had sent last year. She was dressed up as a very sexy elf, sitting on Santa's lap. Oh, how Clay had wished he was Santa when he saw that picture. He, so much, wanted to find out if she was naughty or nice! Definitely hoped for naughty! He started asking Joseph about her whenever they talked on the phone. Joseph would tease, even said once, "Your girlfriend was actually late coming in to work today, so unlike her. Maybe you need to get on a plane and come here, teach her a lesson?!"

"Maybe one day, I will!" Saying that out loud made Clay's cock twitch. Something he'd have to take care of later. While looking at that photo. Again!

~~

The evening was passing by too quickly for Lily. For Clay too. They'd finished their take-out by the lake. And just sat, talking, about the town. Lily had only lived here 4 years, but loved it as much as where she had grown up.

Since it was getting late, they decided to start heading back to Lily's house. Even though tomorrow was Saturday and neither had to be up early, and neither wanted this night to be over. But, it seemed like the appropriate thing to do. Neither was in the mood for appropriate!

~~

When they'd gotten back to the house, Clay's nervousness returned. He'd been so calm by the lake. Now, he was almost shaking. Maybe he should just go back to Joseph's now? God he hoped Lily asked him in! He thought.

Lily really liked Clay. He was easy to talk to. And sooo sweet. But there was something about him, nothing bad, just something she couldn't put her finger on.

Mmm, he wanted to put all her fingers on him! Run them across his chest, down his stomach, over his belt... she wasn't sure why, but she shivered just then.

"You O.K. Lily? Cold?" Clay asked.

"I'm fine, just... a little chill. It's gone now." Lily smiled and hoped Clay hadn't noticed she had goose bumps. She just knew he'd know she was thinking about him.

As Lily unlocked her door, she turned to Clay, "Would you like to come in? I know it's getting late, so if you..."

"No, I'd love to come in! It's not thaaat late! Unless you..." Clay thought he sounded too anxious.

"No, I... I'd love for you to come in!" Lily groaned inside. She'd love for him to come in? She hoped he didn't think she was desperate.

Lily opened the door, turned on the lights and told Clay to make himself comfortable. Clay didn't know how he was going to do that with all the thoughts going on in his head. And as he sat down on Lily's sofa, with her hairbrush staring at him from the coffee table, that old familiar twitch in his pants was making comfortable impossible!

"Would you care for something to drink? I have water, soda, wine?" Lily stood near the sofa, just to Clay's right. Clay thought how easy it would be to pull her over his lap right now. Pick up that hairbrush and...

"Uh, no. I'm good. Thank you though!" Clay smiled, trying to shake the thought away. Lily went around the coffee table and sat down on the sofa next to Clay. On his left.

Damn! he thought. "I had a real nice time tonight Lily. You going to the fireworks display tomorrow night?" Again, Clay thought he was talking too fast.

"I wasn't. Never been into them. Too noisy for me. Are... you going?" Lily hoped he said no. Then maybe they could go out again.

"I am. Have always loved the shows they put on here! If... we sat and watched them by the lake... it shouldn't be too noisy. C'mon, I'd be there to protect you from the loud booms!" Clay had pulled Lily closer and into his arms as he said that he'd protect her. He didn't remove them when he stopped talking. Lily was glad! His arms felt strong... and safe. Like he really could protect her from the "loud booms". She tilted her head and looked up at him. He looked down at her.

Kiss me! Lily thought, "Please kiss me!" That time, she had spoken the words out loud and Clay put his hand under her chin, tilted her head up closer to his and kissed her. Softly, at first, then deeply. Clay felt that twitch again.

Lily felt that tingle. They kissed for what seemed like forever, yet, it wasn't long enough. Finally, when he thought he couldn't stand it any longer, thought if he didn't take Lily right now, he would burst into flames, Clay pulled back.

"I really should be going. It is late." Clay started to stand, looked down at Lily, who felt dazed, and said "Tomorrow, I will pick you up at 7 p.m. We'll have a picnic dinner, I'll bring it, by the lake. Then we'll watch the fireworks together."

"Yes Clay." Lily said, quietly.

"Good girl." Clay smiled as he leaned down to kiss her again.

Lily would never be able to explain to JoyAnn how those two words, "good girl", made every part of her body tingle. How happy it made her thinking she had just pleased him.

She couldn't move. She thought that if she tried to stand up right now, the jelly that had become her body would quiver and melt. Clay must have noticed -- and understood.

"I'll see myself out. You get to sleep, right away, and I'll see you tomorrow night." He kissed her once more and then left. After a few minutes, Lily was able to move. She got up and ready for bed. She wanted to remain a "good girl".

~~

Lily awoke Saturday morning excited. This was the first time she had ever looked forward to seeing the fireworks display. She turned over onto her side, not ready to get up. Just then, her cell phone rang. It was Mr. King.

That's odd! Lily thought, sitting up in bed, doubting he was calling her in to work. She answered the phone on the 2nd ring.

"Good morning baby. Sleep well?" Clay's voice was soft and sweet. Lily found the need to lie back down and snuggle into her body pillow.

"Good morning Clay." Lily said, surprised.

"I thought I should use Joseph's phone since we didn't share our numbers with one another. I figured you'd recognize his." What Clay didn't know was, Lily wasn't surprised by it turning out to be him on the phone. It was him calling her "baby". She had only met him yesterday! And yes, they had this intense kiss. But "baby"? Lily sighed. Yes, "baby". She loved it.

"Lily, you O.K?" Clay had heard the sigh and wasn't sure if she was upset that he had called her. Granted, they'd had a great time last night. And she had agreed to another date tonight.

But... maybe... she had changed her mind! Maybe he'd been wrong about his feeling she would be into being told they'd go out tonight, instead of being asked. No, there was something in the way Lily had said "Yes Clay." that he knew she would be into even much more then that.

"I'm fine Clay, just being lazy. Not feeling like getting out of bed." Lily snuggled into the pillow more, trying to imagine it was Clay.

"Oooh, very naughty! Now as soon as I hang up, you are to get out of bed, have a good breakfast, take a nice long bubble bath, and put on a robe. Just a robe! Then, call me back! Here's my cell number..." Clay's voice was still soft, but firm. He gave her his number. Gave her a kiss, over the phone, and hung up.
