I ran.

Faster.

Faster.

As a 23 year old, playing hide and go seek tag with my 10 year old sister wasn't the ideal way to be spending a Friday night, or any night, for that matter.

Plus, I have to admit, playing tag in the dark is pretty damn difficult. Can't see for shit. I'm not sure why I agreed to it in the first place.

I ran until I was sure I was out of Annabeth's sight, and I climbed a tree, hoping she wouldn't see me.

I then realized how stupid that idea was.

And she saw me. Great.

As she started to climb the tree, I definitely thought more than once about jumping down, but unless I was planning on breaking both of my legs, it probably wasn't a good idea.

I slowly started backing up on the tree branch, before Annabeth's foot slipped, and she fell off the branch.. Head first.

I quickly climbed down the tree, and kneeled next to my sister.

I gasped, as I saw the blood quickly pouring out of her head.

I got my phone out of my pocket, sobbing, as I dialed 911.

"Please help," I said. "My sister fell from a tree, and her head is bleeding.. I don't feel a pulse. My address is 56 Gamma Avenue, zip code 92346, in Highland, California. Please hurry!"

I hung up and attempted CPR. God, I didn't know if I was doing it right. It probably wasn't even the right thing to do in a situation like this!

I looked at the back of her head and saw a gash. I took off my sweater and used it to put pressure on the gash. I then heard sirens.

***

I sat in the waiting room of the ER, waiting for my parents to come, and info on my sister.

A nurse and a doctor walked out of the ER, and my parents arrived at the same time. I looked up at the doctor and nurse, my parents standing next to me. They all looked nervous.

"Hello Aislin, Mr. and Mrs. Williams," the doctor started, "Unfortunately, all that we have is bad news."

Bad news? What the hell was that supposed to mean?

"We're sorry to inform you that you daughter, or sister, has.. Perished."

I felt tears start to form, as I ran to the bathroom.

God, I hated crying. Especially in front of people. It showed weakness.

I sat in a stall and locked it, before all of the noise in the bathroom stopped. The sounds of toilets flushing, sinks running, people talking, and hand dryers going off stopped. I unlocked the stall and peeked out, wiping my tears. Everything was frozen. And I mean EVERYTHING. I raised an eyebrow as I saw a man walking into the bathroom.

He was pretty odd looking.

He had pale skin, with platinum blonde, shoulder length hair, put into a ponytail, and a scar underneath his left eye. He had one blue eye and one green one. He was cute; He looked a bit like Francisco Lachowski and Ashley Stymest had a love child.

"Before you say anything," he started, "I know this is the Women's Bathroom, and I know everything is frozen, but I'll explain everything to you when you come with me."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Why would I come with you? I don't even know your name."

"Christo. Christo Marblesilver."

Marble what?

"Marblesilver? Isn't that the name of that fictional school for, I don't know, people with powers? I read about it before, it's so fake."

He chuckled. "Well, Aislin.." Is all I heard before I zoned out. How the hell did he know my name?

"Wait.. What? How do you know my name?"

He rolled his eyes. "For the five minutes of me talking, all you have to ask is how I know your name? Were you even listening?"

"Nope. But I still asked you a question."

"Well, Aislin. You obviously don't know yet, but you're powerful. VERY powerful. Your destiny is to be the ruler of Marblesilver, a town in a different dimension. I would tell you more, but I was ordered not to tell you too much, in case you chose not to come."

Okay. This sounded like bullshit. "Well then, Christo. How do I know you're not lying, and this isn't just some made up story?"

"How many people do you know that can make time freeze?"

Well, he DID have a point.

But that didn't mean anything.

"I'll think about it."

"Well then. I'll be back in a few days, Aislin," Was all he said, before he disappeared into midair, and everything unfroze.

***

It had been a week since the incident, and all I could think about were two things: Christo and Annabeth.

My parents haven't talked to me since then; they probably think of me as the reason Annabeth died. I'm surprised they haven't even attempted to kick me out yet.

Of course, I apologized. Plenty of times. But, I feel like they should apologize to me for having to go through it.

As I was lost in my thoughts, I heard some walking behind me, and my TV froze. I turned around and reached my hand out, as I saw Christo's body fly across my bedroom.

"Holy shit!" I yelled, running towards him and kneeling next to him.

"Damn," He said, smiling, "You already know how to use your powers, huh?"

..Powers?

"What do you mean, powers?" I asked, confused.

He sat up. "Powers. You have Telekinesis, Aislin. Here, let me show you." He said, standing up and giving me his hand to help me up. I took it, and stood to my feet.

"Here," He started, taking my hand and pointing it towards my computer desk. "Focus on that pencil and open your hand." I did as I was told. "Now, move it."

Okay, now I was confused. "Move it? What's that supposed to mean? How do I move it?"

"The same way you threw me across the room."

So, I tried it. And it worked. And man, did I feel awesome.

"Wow.. You develop quickly," Christo started, "I think it's time to show you the school. If you, ya know, want to come." He said, holding his hand out.

I thought for a second. What would my parents think? Hell, why should I care? They practically hated me now, so I doubt they'd notice I was gone. So I took his hand.

Suddenly, everything unfroze, and we ended up in a different place.

"What the hell?" I said, stunned. "I didn't know we were gonna leave like that, you could've told me. I don't have extra clothes to wear or anything."

"Haha, it's fine. We have clothes for you here."

I looked around, and all I could say was wow. This place looked amazing.

"Yeah, I know." Christo said.

"What?" I answered.

"Oh," Christo started, "Did I tell you that I can read minds, too?"

Shit.

"Um, no. You could have told me earlier, asshole."

"Yeah. I wasn't planning on it," Christo started, "Anyway, this is Marblesilver University. Home for the gifted."

"Oh, so this school is real? AND named after your last name? You must be pretty popular."

"Yeah, I am." He said, smiling.

I looked down and blushed as I realized we were still holding hands. I tried to pull away, but he tightened his grip.

"Don't worry. I don't bite, hun." We both laughed and walked as he gave me a tour of the school.

"If you're wondering, the school was founded by my great great great grandpa. Quinton Marblesilver. He was the first person in the world to develop any kind of gift."

"What was his power?"

"Telepathy and immortality."

"So he's still alive?"

"Indeed. And if you ask me, he ages pretty well. He's 190 years old, and looks like he's about thirty."

"Wow, that's awesome. I wish I aged like that."

"Yeah. So do I."

Christo finished giving me a tour of the school, as we got to know each other better. He showed me to my dorm, and I gladly didn't have a roommate. I walked into the room, and stood by the door as Christo stood outside.

"Thanks, Chris. Can I call you that?"

"Sure, as long as you let me call you. Daliyah."

"God, I really wish I had a different middle name."

"Exactly."

"Point taken," I started, "Well, thanks again, Christo. I'll see you later."

"Indeed. And remember, dinner's at 6." He said, smiling.

"I'll remember. See ya." I said, closing the door.

***

Once I got out of the shower, I dried myself off, and looked in the mirror.

In all honesty, I wasn't much to look at.

I had dark, mocha skin, and dark brown eyes. My hair was black and short, in a bob hairstyle, kind of like Ciara's in the the Body Party music video. My nose wasn't small, but it wasn't huge. My nostrils were a bit oversized, though. I had pouty lips, my top lip brown and my bottom one pink.

I was tall, about 6'0, 6'1 at the tallest. My breasts were a B-Cup, and I had an ass that wasn't even close to being flat.

I was never one for showing off my body. I barely even wore short sleeves. Guys would look at me, but you know, they probably wouldn't do a double take. I've had my first kiss, and only 2 boyfriends, but I hadn't lost my virginity yet. I wasn't planning on getting it taken away anytime soon, either.

But, I couldn't help but thinking of Annabeth again. I couldn't help but think that her death was all my fault. But, damn. I really needed to stop thinking like that.

***

Since it was 5:50, I went to the cafeteria. I couldn't help but get lost, the school wasn't that huge, but it definitely had a complex setup. Once I got to the cafeteria, it was 6:01.

"So much for being early," I mumbled.

When I was walking towards where people were lining up to get food, someone grabbed my arm. I turned towards them and saw Christo.

"You didn't think you'd be eating at the school on your first day, did you?" He said, letting go of my arm, as he knew he had my attention now.

"Well, I kind of assumed I would be." I answered, chuckling a bit.

"You thought wrong, hun." He said, grabbing my arm again and bringing me with him.

***

He brought me to a place called "Thai 101". Once we were seated, we started talking.

"This place looks so fancy. I wish I had dressed up."

Christo chuckled. "You look fine, anyway. It's not THAT fancy."

Once we ordered our food, I couldn't help but be curious about him.

"Christo, how did you get here? You know, in Marble-" He cut me off by covering my mouth.

"This is in the public. We can't talk about these things when people without.. You know.. Are around. We can talk later."

And so, we did.

***

Christo and I were sitting in my room, on my bed. I then remembered what we were talking about.

"Christo, we never did finish our conversation in the restaurant."

"Like I said before, my great great great grandfather founded this school. I never knew I had a gift, or, well, gifts, until I was about 8."

"What powers do you have?"

"Telepathy, Teleportation, and I can freeze time, as you probably already know."

"Do you know what powers I'm supposed to have, besides Telekinesis?"

"You only have Telekinesis."

"Wow. Thanks for getting my hopes up."

"You're welcome." We both laughed. I then reached towards his face and stroked the scar beneath his left eye. "How did you get this?" I asked.

He sighed. "It's not really something I like to talk about." I immediately felt bad for asking the question. "Oh. Sorry." I said.

We talked all night, and fell asleep in the same bed.

***

It had been a year since I first arrived at Marblesilver, and Christo and I were best friends. He was like my second half.

Christo and I were in the cafeteria, and were talking, although I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying. I had recently developed feelings for Christo, and all I was doing was staring at him, becoming mesmerized at his angelic features. It was one of those moments where I didn't want him to be reading my mind, because I'd be embarrassed, but at the same time, I wanted him to know my feelings for him.

His eyes that represented his heterochromia, his pink, plump lips, his cute nose, shoulder-length hair, and scar underneath his left eye that he still hadn't told me about. I was about to say something when a girl walked up to him. And damn, talk about supermodel.

She had long, jet black hair that was up to the top of her butt, and hazel eyes. She was about 5'6, and had an amazing body. I could tell that lots of guys probably wanted her, possibly girls. She had a slight British accent. I wonder why I hadn't noticed her before.

"Hello.. Christo, is it? I was wondering if you could tutor me? You seem to be the best at telepathy in the school, so maybe you could help me get better at it?" I scoffed. They both heard me and looked my way, so I cleared my throat.

"*cough* Tickle in my throat, haha." When I noticed neither of them were laughing, I scratched the back of my neck and looked away nervously.

"Sure. Your name's Hillary, right?"

"Yes, it is. Looking forward to it! Meet me in my room at 8!" She said, walking away. I DEFINITELY had competition, and my chances of being with Christo went from a 50% to a 30%. Yikes.

As I was lost in my thoughts, a lightning strike went through the ceiling and pushed everyone back, except for me. I gasped, looked at my hands and saw them glowing.

"What the fuck is this?" I thought.

I thought my only power was telekinesis..

***

I sat in my room and couldn't help but think of what happened in the cafeteria. What was this?

I pointed my hand towards my TV, and thought about Hillary and Christo. I thought about what her true intentions with Christo were... And it blew up.

"Holy shit.." I mumbled.

Finding out about my new powers were definitely a big surprise for me, and I knew it'd be an even bigger surprise for Christo. I headed towards his room, and opened the door. Only his roommate, Tyler, was in there.

"Hey, Tyler." I said.

"Hey. What's up, Aislin?"

"Have you seen Christo?"

"Yeah, I saw him earlier. Are you looking for him?"

"Yeah."

"He said he was tutoring some girl.. Erm.. Hillary, was it?" I immediately froze.

Once I came back to my senses, I told Tyler thanks and headed towards Hillary's room. I ran fasted than usual. Another power? God, I didn't have time for this. As I stood outside the door, I heard bed springs.. And groaning.. And moaning. So, I opened the door. Why doesn't anyone keep their doors locked around here?

When I opened the door, I saw exactly what I feared. Christo and Hillary in the buff, and Hillary on top of him. They both looked my way, but before they saw me, I quickly closed the door, and ran, using my latest ability. I ran into Mr. Marblesilver, the principal's office.

I quickly closed the door behind me, and sat down. "Hello, Ms... Great god, are you alright?"

"What do you mean?" I answered.

"Your eyes.. They're.. Completely black."

I quickly grabbed the mirror on Mr. Marblesilver's desk, and looked in it. My god.. What was happening?!

"I.."

"You're.. You're what he talked about.."

I raised an eyebrow. "I'm what WHO talked about..?"

"You're.. All.."

What the the hell was he talking about?

"You're the most powerful being alive.."

Okay, NOW I was confused. I slowly stood up, and backed out of the room. I speed walked to my room, and sat on my bed.

I didn't want this anymore. I wanted to go home.

I called my mom, and she answered.

"Aislin.. Honey.. Is that you? Where have you been!? It's been a year!"

"Mom.. I want to come home. I'm taking a plane back to California.. Please pick me up from the airport when I get back.."

"Sure thing, hun.. I can't wait to see you again!"

***

It had been weeks since I've had contact with anyone from Marblesilver, and my parents were going to be away for a while. During a time like this, I'd probably be terrified, but I guess that since I could pull someone apart with my hands, it wasn't all that scary.

Suddenly, everything around me froze.

"Oh, great." I thought.

"I heard that," Christo said.

I just sighed and continued sitting on my bed and reading my book.

"Aislin.. Why did you leave? AND without even telling me?" I just ignored him.

"Aislin. I know you hear me."

He was right. I did. So, I reached my hand out and made him float in the air. He couldn't move.

"Give me one reason why I should talk to you."

"Give me one reason why you shouldn't." He had a point. So, I put him down and started reading again.

"Aislin, seriously. What happened?" He said, sitting down next to me.

"Christo. YOU'RE what's wrong with me. I fucking love you, Christo. I can't control it. And seeing you that day, with Hillary just.. Made me lose it."

I could tell that he was surprised at my words.

Hell, I even surprised myself. He then look my book and threw it across the room. After that, he took off his shirt and threw it. Damn, perfectly toned.

"Let me show you how much I love you, too.." And with that, he backed me into the bed, and kissed. It was sweet at first, but the kiss then got harder and became more lustful. He reached his hands under my shirt and started to rub my boobs. He then unhooked my bra, and I stopped him.

"Christo.. You know that I'm-"

"Yes, Aislin. I read your mind. I'll be gentle, love." He pulled off my shirt and bra. He pulled down my pants, and pulled down my panties with his teeth. He lowered his face between my thighs, and licked my slit.

"You're so wet, babe." He sucked on my clit and slipped a finger inside of me. I moaned, and immediately felt embarrassed for hearing the noise come out of me so involuntarily.

"No, don't hide it, babe. I like that sound coming from you." I blushed at his words.

He kept sucking on my clit and fingering me, and I started to feel an unfamiliar feeling in my nether region. "Christo, I think I'm.." "I know, love. Let it out." His words pushed me to the limit, and I immediately came.

Christo went up to my face and kissed me passionately. He then pulled away, and unbuckled his pants. He pulled down his pants and boxers, and I finally saw what he was working with.

He wasn't huge, he definitely was no Jonah Falcon, but he was about 5-6 inches. "Got any condoms?" He asked. "Nope." "Are you on birth control?" "Nope." "Fuck it, I'm taking my chances. If you get pregnant, don't worry, you know that I love you." I smiled. He kissed me again, and slowly slid into me. Damn, did it hurt like hell. I nearly screamed into his mouth, as he kissed me harder, trying to shush me.

He started off slow, and it did hurt at first, but it eventually started to feel better. I guess he knew, because he started to thrust faster. "Fuck, Aislin. You're so tight," He said, groaning. "Christo, I'm-" Before I got to finish my sentence, he flipped me over, on all fours. "Not yet, babe. Hold it in."

He went harder and faster. I tried my best to stop from cumming, but it definitely was difficult. As his thrusts started getting sloppier, I could tell he was about to cum, too. "Let it go, babe.." I did as I was told, and came onto him. He came not too soon after, and collapsed beside me. I cuddled into his chest.

After his breathing regulated, he said, "My mom. I got it from trying to save my mom. But since she's not here today, I guess my plan didn't work so well."

"You got what?"

"The scar."

I looked up at him, stroked the scar and kissed it. He smiled. "Now, was it THAT hard to tell me?"

"Yes."

"Touché." We both chuckled.

"I love you, Chris." I guess he decided to let the nickname slide, for this once.

"I love you more."

"No," I said, "Not possible."

Great bones but

She handled her parents reaction to her baby sister's death worse than someone half her age. Aside from that, and immediately giving her flower to someone who HAD to have a clue as to how she felt right after he hopped out of someone else's cooch; this story still has great potential. I hope you continue ; -D

Rushed OUTLINE for a story, too any holes for this to be complete and also WARN us when there is scifi/nonhuman elements. I get this site is fiction but not all of us like reading that.

The story

was rather fast paced. It's a bit more character development. What I thought odd was that Annabeth and her family practically no longer existed. When dealing with the death of a loved one, you can't really brush over it so quickly whether in real life or in fiction. It appears callous. Also, it looks kind of bad to have the female lead sleep with the male lead so quickly after he just had sex with another woman. Otherwise, your story wasn't bad.
