Mothers and Daughters Ch. 06

When Pamela returned from Dallas, she was all smiles in her greeting to her mother, "Wow Mom that was some present for my eighteenth birthday! I could not think of a better one. Thank you! Thank you! I had a blast. But my aren't you the sly one? I understand you have achieved some fame yourself amongst certain circles."

Hannah blushed but she was not too perturbed as Pamela was obviously teasing her. She then listened to Pamela recount all her adventures at the TLR. Pamela was able to show off a gold plated body chain with twelve hearts that Kristina Vargas awarded to her and Sally Browning.

Kristina had acquired these chains as she had been considering scheduling sex games or contests to enhance the enjoyment at the orgies. She thought such chains would be appropriate prizes for contest winners. Given Pamela's and Sally's performance at this orgy, Kristina felt that they were worthy first recipients of these chains.

Pamela decided she would engrave each heart with the hour time and the pair of men they fucked during that hour. Kristina had provided her with the list as they were known to have drawn.

Surrounding the names and time she had engraved "The Pamela-Sally Show".

Hannah was amazed at Pamela's extreme wantonness. In all of her planning and managing of her daughter's career and in raising her, she had never factored in her daughter's possible sexual desires. Considering her own sexual appetites, Hannah realized that she should have taken into an account the possibility that Pamela might become a slut and plan accordingly.

She now knew that Pamela would become harder if not impossible to control. She had the premonition that one small sex scandal would undo the careful public image she had developed for Pamela and the ruin of her career would surely follow. So for damage control, Hannah believed it was imperative that she get Pamela membership into TLR.

She would have to beg Kristina Vargas for special concessions to permit Pamela more appearances at the orgies than are afforded to other members. Perhaps if Pamela had frequent access to the TLR orgies she would be sufficiently sexually satisfied to be circumspect otherwise. Hannah trusted in the confidentiality and anonymity of the TLR to keep Pamela's sexual escapades there from becoming public knowledge.

In approaching Kristina Vargas, Hannah caught a break. Kristina was amiable to granting special favors for Pamela's membership to TLR. From Kristina's point of view, it was quite an advantage for the success of TLR to boast of Pamela's membership. Although TLR had already amongst its membership acquired many prominent persons well known especially in the political and business circles, there was no one of the celebrity status of Pamela Rose.

Kristina was aware that well known non show business people are more enchanted with entertainment celebrities than the general public. The reputation of TLR thus had to be enhanced amongst the swingers community if it became known that Pamela Rose was a member and Kristina could charge more for membership as a result of the increase of demand to join.

Knowledge of Pamela's appearance and her activity with Sally had already quickly become well known amongst the swingers community and had excited current membership. With Pamela as a member no doubt other entertainment celebrities prone to sexual orgies would join solidifying TLR's status as the premier sex club in the United States; not bad after only a little more than two years in operation. As an ultimate mercenary consideration, Kristina was prepared to extract a sizeable increase in Pamela's fees which she sensed that neither Pamela nor Hannah would have objection to; and in any case they certainly could easily afford it.

Thus, Hannah was successful in getting Pamela into the membership to TLR with the special privilege of the ability to attend any and all regular orgies not previously allotted to Pamela in her normal membership's schedule. For the privilege she was charged an extra 25% membership dues and a 33% surcharge on attending any orgy that was not regularly scheduled for her. As Kristina suspected Hannah agreed to the extra charges without protest and probably felt she got a bargain.

In fact Hannah was indeed truly grateful to Kristina. Pamela was absolutely wanton in her actions at the TLR and easily surpassed in licentious behavior than the lewdest member. Not a word or hint of such activity and or depravity was uncovered by the paparazzi or by reporters of the entertainment magazines or of the sleazy tabloids. The membership of TLR was staunch in their confidentiality. The general public was accordingly totally unaware of Pamela's sluttish nature and continued to buy into the wholesome innocent America's sweetheart image of Pamela Rose. Yes Hannah did not begrudge one penny of all the monies she spent at the TLR on behalf of Pamela; it was monies well spent.

For a year everything went along swimmingly. Pamela continued to be a superstar entertainer and her fan base continued to enlarge. She continued to make tons of money. However, Hannah sensed that something important had to change to maintain Pamela's high position in the celebrity world. Hannah saw the snide snippets in the entertainment rags speculating on the evident absence of serious boyfriends in Pamela's personal life. Was she gay was one of the first questions bruited about. Did she have a repellent personality that discouraged suitors? To bolster such surmise quite a lot of unflattering quotes were extracted from some of the males Pamela had very visibly dated.

Hannah knew that the poisonous comments were a result of unsuccessful attempts by those guys to get into Pamela's pants. It was ironic that these guys were in fact unaware that Pamela was actually a slut. They were not successful with Pamela, as she knew fucking them would not be beneficial to her career and she had a very good outlet for her sexual desires. However Hannah also sensed that sooner or later Pamela would lose such discipline and agree to fuck one of her dates. Nothing good would come of that since the guy would be subsequently shocked by Pamela's wantonness given her public virginal reputation and his imparting such discovery to the Press would pave the way for Pamela's downfall.

Hannah decided that the only way out of this almost certain impending doom was to get Pamela married off. Such decision necessitated careful consideration and planning, but Hannah was up to the task. After some research and deliberations Hannah was able to formulate a reasonable plan that should not only preserve Pamela's career but enhance it. She outlined her plan to Pamela, who was now nineteen, "Pamela, I think it is time for you to marry..."

Pamela immediately interrupted, "But why Mom? I'm having a lot of fun as it is. I'm keeping my sexual activity out of the public eye. No one knows I'm a slut. I am still Miss Goody Two-Shoes; my career is not in jeopardy."

"I know you don't read the gossip about yourself, and I don't blame you. However, you should be aware that there are negative vibes in the entertainment press. The point is that even Miss Goody Two-Shoes cannot remain a virgin indefinitely. The press is churning out hideous suppositions of why you have no steady boyfriends and why you still appear to be a virgin. So, I have come to the conclusion that only marriage can stamp out this trend of negative reporting and ensure your career proceeds profitably."

"But Mom you know I am not a one man woman. Hell, I actually prefer two or more men in a single fuck never mind trying to restrict myself to one man forever. I know I am going to stray I can't help myself. Infidelity and divorce will surely wreak my pristine image faster than if I remain a perceived virginal spinster."

"Look Pamela we are not looking for you to find a man, to fall in love with, to marry, have children and live orthodoxically in a house surrounded by a white picket fence presumably happily ever after. What I am talking about is an arranged marriage just like they have done ever since the dawn of time and even today in some cultures. And with an arranged marriage certain understandings can be agreed to beforehand thus ensuring a successful marriage but keeping intact certain proclivities neither party is willing to give up."

"Well OK but an arranged marriage is no longer part of our culture and society today. That is unless you want me to be a beard for a gay guy who needs to hide his homosexuality."

"No! No! No! Marriage to a gay man just won't do especially since you should become a mother as well if only to enhance the publicity. But yes admittedly, it will be up to you to get the man I select to propose to you. But I don't think you will have any difficulty in that task. Now a pre-nuptial agreement is equivalent to the old fashioned arranged marriage. Actually, old fashioned arranged marriages did concern primarily with money arrangements between the spouses. So what I envision is that a pre-nuptial agreement can be drafted to allow an open marriage with the stipulation that the children be of the couple but each of you would be free to fuck anyone else."

"Do you think any man is willing to agree to his wife being promiscuous?"

"True not most men, but you know from your experience with the TLR there are some who are like you not wishing to be tied down. In fact although a fair majority of members are like me single, nevertheless there are married couples wherein both of them are members."

"So you suggest that I marry someone who is a member of the TLR?"

"No! No! You have to marry a celebrity; someone who is equivalent in status to you. It has to be a marriage that excites your fans and the general public as well. Now in the celebrity world infidelity is not uncommon but there is a fiction of fidelity that must be maintained. So ergo a pre-nuptial agreement is a matter of course and the stipulation of children has to be there. On this latter point, since you are fitted with an IUD when you want to get pregnant, and you must have at least two children, just remove it and restrict your fucking to your husband while it is out."

"Oh wow. You have thought of everything, Mom. OK then. Do you have someone in mind for me?"

"Well yes I think I have a candidate. First of all, it won't do to have you married to essentially a competing entertainer. The jealousy either one has to the success or lack of success of the other spouse will doom the marriage notwithstanding the pre-nup. So I think a professional athlete is really best. I am thinking something like a Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe union comes to mind. Although their marriage certainly did not last long; still it was a legendary marriage that is still remembered even today."

"All right I follow your reasoning. So have you found any particular athlete for me?"

"Yes I think I have. His name is Larry Grant, and he is a senior college quarterback and thus just about your age. He is likely to be a star in the NFL next year. He is probably going to win the Heisman Trophy in a couple of weeks."

"The Heisman Trophy? What's that?"

"It is a trophy awarded to the best college football player of the year. There is a dinner in New York City in a couple of weeks to announce and honor this year's winner. With my contacts I have snagged tickets for us to attend. It is lucky that you have that special three days concert scheduled at Madison Square Gardens (MSG), starting the night after this dinner so that is your excuse to being in New York City in the first place. I'll arrange the two of you to meet and I am sure you will be able to entice him to take you out. Or you can invite him to your concert. From there I am sure you are capable after a few dates to get him to propose."

"Oh really? How can you be so sure? Maybe he has a fiancée or at least a girlfriend. Maybe I cannot charm him into a date."

"I've done some research. He has no girlfriend or fiancée, but he is a womanizer. I am sure he will ask you out as he won't be able to resist you. As for getting him to propose I am sure you will have no problem at all. And as he is a womanizer then I am quite confident I can negotiate a prenuptial agreement to our liking."

The Larry Grant Hannah was referring to was of course our Larry Grant, the natural father of Natasha Starikovich. When Larry did not hear from Vera, he assumed she got someone else to pick her up from the Jackson bus station after having the presumed abortion in Chicago. He did not take any notice that he never saw her again and soon forgot all about Vera. He had other things on his mind as well; like other girls to pursue. However since Vera, he learned his lesson and made sure to use a condom unless he specifically knew that his female partner was practicing birth control of some kind. In any case no female other than Vera had informed him of being pregnant as a result of sexual intercourse with him.

Larry Grant had a highly inflated opinion of himself. He constantly gave offense because of his arrogant nature and condescending attitude. He did not have a humble bone in his body. This cost him in the college recruiting. He was a star quarterback in high school with obvious talent that he had a realistic expectation to get offers from the major colleges in the south as well as elsewhere although he did not apply outside the south.

Unfortunately for Larry, in the recruiting interviews the visiting coaches and scouts were so turned off by his personality that they refused to offer him a scholarship. Highly disappointed by being rejected by the major premier colleges in the south he reluctantly had to accept the offer from Southern Mississippi University in Hattiesburg, MS, just a few miles south of his parents' home. Paradoxically the rejection by the premier colleges proved to be a major blessing in disguise for Larry's career.

For one thing he was able to be the starting quarterback for the Golden Eagles as a freshman. He was injury free, so he started every game during his four years at Southern Mississippi, a fact much appreciated by the NFL scouts. During his college career, Southern Mississippi had on their out of conference schedule each year two premier college teams from the South; to each of which Larry had applied. The teams were Texas, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Florida State and in state rivals Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Mississippi State.

In each of those eight games Southern Mississippi was the underdog and in three cases heavy underdogs. Probably as personal vengeance for his perceived suffered slight Larry was inspired to play phenomenally in each of these games and Southern Mississippi won all of them. In fact that last year they had a totally unexpected win against Alabama, the Crimson Tide's only loss and costing them the national title. That victory made Larry a lock for the Heisman Trophy.

Conveniently in the professional level Larry's obnoxious personality was considered a plus so Larry was inundated by agents offering to negotiate his first pro contract. Thus, Larry's prospects in the NFL were great. He would at least garner a very lucrative initial contract as a Number 1 pick quarterback. And if he subsequently played well there would be no telling how much wealth he could acquire. All in all, he seemed to Hannah to be an ideal husband for Pamela from strictly a career plus viewpoint. Although Pamela was dubious of a successful outcome of her mother's plan, she was intrigued enough to give it a shot.

Now the Downtown Athletic club, the venue for the Heisman Trophy Dinner, became aware of Pamela's expected attendance. The executive in charge of the dinner, wasted no time in getting in touch with Hannah. He had been unsuccessful in negotiating a deal with TV executives to televise the dinner and the awards ceremony as it was deemed not interesting enough to attract viewers. Since Larry Grant was considered a sure fire winner, there was no possible tension of speculation of who the winner would be. Thus, there was no perceived excitement to lure viewers other than the truly hard core college football sports fan.

However, if Pamela were to present the award as well as sing a song or two before the presentation of the trophy then he knew he could at least get a local New York channel to telecast the show on such short notice. Perhaps that might lead to a successful national contract for the future was the thinking.

Hannah was happy to quickly negotiate a deal as it saved her the trouble of concocting a scheme to get Larry to meet Pamela, plus provide free advertising for Pamela's concert at MSG. The tickets were sold out for Pamela's three nights, but further publicity could transform the concert into a memorable legendary status that would forever establish Pamela's career and place in entertainment history. So that year the usual staid and relatively boring Heisman Trophy dinner was spiced up greatly by Pamela's appearance. She, along with her band, sang two songs to the absolute pleasure of everyone in attendance there. She was cleverly worked in the scene to present the trophy to Larry who indeed was the winner. The ensuing photo ops provided the circumstance for Larry to meet and converse with Pamela.

He said, "I am honored to meet you Ms Rose; I am definitely a fan of yours. You sounded great tonight."

"Call me Pamela and thanks. If you like my music, would you like to see my opening night concert at MSG tomorrow night? I can get you a seat in my mother's luxury box. Perhaps you would like to see me afterwards at my dressing room after the concert and you can meet my band; we can share a drink while I relax from the performance."

"Wow would I? I have all of your CDs, but I've never been to any one of your concerts. I would be thrilled."

"Great! Here's my card with mine and my mother's cell phone numbers. Just contact her tomorrow and she will set up the arrangements for you. I'll let her know to expect your call."

At this point Larry decided to take a chance because he had no date for the dinner and so he asked, "That's terrific. By the way Pamela I know this is short notice, but I have passes to some of the top nightclubs in New York. The Heisman Dinner committee had provided me and the other candidates with passes to some of the most exclusive and popular nightclubs. I had a date set up, but she bowed out at the last moment as she became sick with the flu or cold or something. I was planning to go stag but if you are not busy, I would love to have you as my date."

Larry was telling a little fib. His date had not become sick, but they had a fight a few days previously back at Hattiesburg. His date caught him in bed with another girl and she reacted by refusing to go to New York with him. So, he was truthful about his intention of going stag. For Pamela she was planning on just relaxing at her hotel suite in preparation for her concert the next night, but she was not averse to the date. After all the whole purpose for her to meet Larry was to marry him and there was no point in delaying the start of the campaign. So she replied, "Well I was just going to relax in my hotel suite, but your offer is too good to resist. I'll get my things and tell my mother. By the way I have the use of a limousine for the whole week, so do you want to take advantage of my wheels?"

"Sounds like that makes this on the spur moment date perfect."

Accordingly, Larry and Pamela made the rounds of the trendy and exclusive nightclubs in Manhattan. They had no problems in getting in ahead of line-ups because of Larry's passes but also because of Pamela's celebrity. No club would want to deny admittance to someone of Pamela's stature. They had an artificially good time; by definition drinking and dancing means a good time. However, the conversation was one sided as Larry loved to talk about himself. Larry was used to pretty girls hanging around him and listening to his every word with apparent fascination.
