fireguy365over 11 years agoThis is the second story by this author that I've read where the new and old are mixed together and I find that it actually detracts from the story. When the characters are using swords and there are magic healers etc, I seriously don't think they would be wearing mini skirts and tank tops.
It's inconceivable to think that a woman who had just been abducted, raped and beaten would be giving sex the next night as a thank you gift, unless she enjoyed it and was into such things. In that case she would probably have been kind of pissed when she was freed from being raped and beaten.
Need some proof reading back when Lewis is with his dying father. "Lewis spoke to his father briefly before he died. He had told him how proud he was of Lewis' training, how proud he was of the way he had grown up and how proud he was of Lewis". Could it be that Lewis spoke with his father and his father told him how proud etc?
