Janet looked at her friend, not really surprised that she'd take her comment the way she did, and asked, "But, that's not,... I mean, that's not us, is it?"
"There's a cab." Victoria said, spying one over the blonde's shoulder.
She stepped out from behind Janet, hailing it down as her friend turned to watch, voluntarily banishing the subject from her own mind in favour of thoughts of a nice hot bath back in their suite.

To the person who wrote the previous comment... "written by an 8th grader" ?? ... ummm... any 8th grader that had the sexual knowledge to write that will seriously need therapy by the age of 20. As for the comment about "street talk"... LOL... they were street people!! ... D'uh !!! Criticism should be constructive, not just ignorant ramblings : )
