Rolf smirked at the temerity of a mere female, acting like she had any control over this. "Come closer, and I will release her."
"We're not stupid Alpha. If we get too close you wouldn't have to let her go and then you'd have all three of us. No, you need to let her go now, and we'll come to you." Rebecca was trying desperately to maintain her composure as she tried to sort out the voices in her head. She had Carr telling her what to say and Trey trying to shore her up. It was getting ridiculously confusing.
Rolf lightened up on his grip on Halle's hair and let her stand up straight. His hand opened and he released her hair. He leaned in close to her ear and whispered, "Go."
