In answer to those who wish the stories I've submitted were longer and contained more detail, let me just say both stories are based on real people and real events, (including a real dog, by the way), but everything happened so long ago now I don't recall everything in minute detail, and I don't wish to embellish the stories simply to make them more entertaining. Sorry if I'm wrong about that.
Both stories could be continued, but I think I should probably leave them where they are, under the circumstances.
