I'm an engineer, widowed, retired from the aircraft industry and loving every minute of my retirement! It's great being able to do what I want, when I want, the way I want. I've found it very relaxing to sit at the keyboard at night, when everything is quiet, and write whatever comes to mind. I understand that I can't please everybody, and I gave up trying a long time ago. If you simply don't like my writing, it's more likely my fault than yours, so I suggest that your time might better be spent reading somebody else's stories. ******************************* Please don't get caught in the story at the top of my list, "A Walk in the Woods." It's just a fragment--something went horribly wrong during the posting. I later rewrote the story and posted it with a different title, but I haven't been able to get this orphaned fragment removed. |
