I feel that I should put something more defining in here than simple statistics, what I like, what I hate. There is no point in that. So I will post something meaningful, something important.
This is how I feel about writing:
Some people put a great deal of importance on appearance, whether it be personal or monetary. Some people just want to look good. Others want to be recognized for their compassion, their good deeds. My writing is like that for me. It is my defining characteristic.
In sociology there is a hierarchy of roles. What one puts first when describing themselves. First, I am human, second I am a woman, and third, and probably most important, I am a writer. I pour my soul out onto hard-drive and then I put it out there. Open to criticism, open to praise. Yes, sometimes it hurts, but pain is how we learn.
And I love to learn.
