Enough people have been asking about whether I plan to expand on "Life Between Night and Day" that I thought I'd post the answer here.
First of all, I consider your interest in reading more a great complment, and I thank you very much.
The truth is, I'm not sure how I'd want to see this end. I'm too realistic to feel comfortable with anything more than friendship between a manager and his direct report. On the other hand, how do you stay friends, when there's a deeper attraction simmering in the background?
I thought the story was strong enough to stand as a snapshot (and given the score, I think I was right) and I hope all of you will give it your own ending. And if anybody wants to pick the idea up and and expand on it, please feel free to do so!
