I started writing when I was 15 and wrote intensively for about ten years, producing a lot of stories, several novels, and plays; some of the stories were published in small magazines, but the rest were not. I gave up on writing for a long time. It didn't seem like people read much anymore, and I didn't understand the point of it. I pursued other interests. For my 42nd birthday my friend got me The Master and Margarita, and I absolutely loved the book! It renewed my interest in writing, and gave me a goal for my writing, to try to produce anything even remotely near as good. I'm working on two novels and several stories, and am going through some of my old stuff and trying to bring it up to snuff. Thanks for reading!
