As for this website, I have been a fan of many of the stories here for a couple years now. My personal preference is stories that feature romance and consensual sex than anything else. I also tend to stick within the Sci-Fi and Nonhuman genres mostly (though not always).
I particularly appreciate stories with human/nonhuman pairings such as a human male and a female alien for example. It is my view that human beings, although capable of violence, greed, stupidity and any number of faults, can also be capable of goodness, emotion and love. For that reason, I'm not a huge fan of stories in which humans are simply discarded as something insignificant.
