I do not write gentle romances (though parts of "Becoming Marie" come close). There are some excellent writers here that do. Instead, I aim my writing at the hindbrain, at the primitive wiring that underpins arousal. If you're reading a story of mine and suddenly find your hand going panty-diving, even while the rational parts of your brain are arguing about morality and decency, I got what I was aiming for. The simple truth is, for most people, what's right, and what makes you so hot you can barely breathe, don't always have much in common. Maybe you'll discover something about yourself in my writing. Maybe it will be an embarrassing discovery - or a window into a new world. If you aren't afraid to talk about it, my mailbox is generally open.
