The Spanish Captain series has now been removed; thank you for your encouragement and comments. To the kind folk who have messaged me re The Spanish Captain, please be assured that I do value my readers! I removed The Spanish Captain for re-editing, some minor changes and for paid publication. Also, the fear of plagiarism was in my mind so I felt it was the right time, after being on Lit for a while, to retrieve my beloved series (beloved to me!)and nurture it. However, the French Lesson and ensuing chapters will be posted on Lit for the foreseeable future. For the people who have enjoyed my stories, please don't worry; I do intend to post one off stories on Lit for two reasons - firstly, because as a writer it is, in my opinion, important to say thank you to readers, and secondly, because I love writing and want to try short one-offs rather than my long series preferences! I hope all of this goes some way to explaining things, and to the anonymous message I received re re-reading halfway through The Spanish Captain, I will be posting a one-off story shortly so keep an eye out here for updates!

I sincerely welcome comments and feedback. My intention isn't to change the world from the production of a literary opus - I got over that one a while ago, too! The path of the writer is the only one I know, and it is one of the best to learn about oneself and life too.
