I write, first, for my husband's enjoyment. We have written stories and shared others stories with each other for years. It's one of the ways we say "I'm thinking of you." When I wrote House Guest my husband suggested I publish it. I didn't take him seriously at first. I had never written with the intent of others reading what I wrote. I eventually decided to try it and was so nervous about what readers would think. I know that I don't catch all the errors in my writing and I don't have an editor. I find very little time to write even if I have many stories swimming in my head. The reality is, I have a family and a real life. I don't have the time I wish I did to bask in my dark fantasies. But when I do carve out some time to do so, I am so appreciative of the positive comments and polite criticism from readers. So, thank you for reading. |
