A couple of thoughts about the Jim Cox story - it's somewhat more diverse that I thought it would be and there are some uncomfortable scenes. My stories just tell themselves to me in stops and starts, so when it came to the Everetts, I modeled them after a family I came to know years later, different for me. The rest of the story came bubbling up pretty much intact - I hope you're enjoying this strange story - thanks for reading.
