I have travelled extensively in Europe and have always been a keen observer of people. I am happy in my own skin and believe that freedom of expression and action is good provided that the rights of others are properly respected. I also believe that our ability to be 'ourselves' has been severely restricted by nurture and bigotry, albeit well meant. I write partly to express my own feelings and partly to encourage others to discover and express theirs.
