I hope you enjoy "Meanwhile, in the Multiverse." Ryan Reynolds once said you never finish a project as much as you abandon it. He was quoting someone else and talking about "The Proposal," but that's always stuck with me. Even now, there are little bits I want to add -- I should have used the word "salivate" as least once! -- but what am I gonna do? Make a bunch of minor tweaks on this piece I was still slapping together at the last minute and send out a second version? Right, then when award season rolls around, I'll wonder why I didn't win for this story I didn't even finish, when "Mutant Mayhem" totally deserves my spot.
