I write stories about limerence, a phenomenon of human emotion best described as that crazy mixed up mess of feelings you have for a new lover.
This term was coined by Dorothy Tennov to describe that manic roller coaster ride of emotion.
This is not love. Love is a long-term commitment to another. Limerence is divine madness and a madness of such intensity that it can't be sustained for long periods of time.
My characters seek their limerence in the joy of new relationships. When their eyes meet across a crowded room and exchange a sensual message, it's just a question of when and how they will submit to their desires.
Happy limerence to you all!
