An avid traveller at age 14 I travelled by air to attend King Williams's College on the Isle of Man from Manchester I think I think I was one of the last that rode a twin prop Dakota. at age 17 I moved to Helensburgh Scotland where I was rapidly promoted to Knitting Production Manager. The entire knitting Dep was sold to a company in Beirut - Lebanon where they hired me to install the entire factory. I was seen as particularly adept in design I was financed to make two extensive trips to Europe. In 1975 a civil war broke out and in 1976 I was transferred to Al Maadi, Egypt to research The possibility of setting up our factory in the free zone after a year I gave up. It was only the beginning of the "fateha" Sadat's opening Egypt's closed market.I also travelled and lived in NYC for 2 years. I lived a year in Munchen followed by a year in Damascus and then 6 years in Cannes France. It does continue but I have to go
