With these stories I am most of all trying to say something true. I do intend to seduce the reader, but most of all I want to provoke a recognition--"Yes! That's what it's like," or "So -that's- what your life is like..."
My stories always reveal more about me than I intend, but that's okay. Someone said: You can't hide in the picture.
