I was thinking of him
When I ran into you

You with your serious eyes
saw my flush, felt my heat,
sensed my desire

You drew me into a kiss

What bliss
Was it any less real that
I was thinking of him
When our tongues
first entwined?

What eyes conceal
lies hidden in the heart

I was thinking of him
when you spoke my name
and touched my hair
with your
marvelous long fingers

I leaned into your long, hard body
thinking of him

I felt your hunger
Tasted it on you lips
Imagining his teeth,
his mouth on mine as
I yielded to you

Our bodies meshed
You so intense and thoughtful
in your taking

Did you sense a ghost in the room?

I felt him there
Longed for him
as I tried to loose myself in you

We spent ourselves in our
mid-summer passion
It was a sultry and humid afternoon
You – so loving
My mind a mess
My body a traitor

Thoughts of him lingered
as we watched the afternoon sun
play on the curtains
you knowing exactly
what not to say

After a while I dressed
and returned to my work
thinking of him

He came to me that night
in a dream
We kissed
I was thinking of you

And I ran into him
He, with those intelligent eyes
Saw my flush, felt my heat,
Sensed my desire

He drew me into a kiss
What bliss
Was it any less real
I was thinking of you
When our tongues
First entwined

What eyes conceal
Lies hidden in the heart

I was thinking of you
When he spoke my name
And touched my hair
With his
Strong hands

I leaned into his long, hard body
Thinking of you

I felt his hunger
Tasted it on his lips
Imagining your teeth
Your mouth on mine
I yielded to him

Our bodies meshed
He playful and loving
In his giving

Did he sense a shadow in the room?

I felt you there
Longed for you
As I tried to loose myself in him

We spent ourselves in our
Midnight passion
It was a sultry and humid night

Him – so loving
My mind a mess
My body a traitor

Thoughts of you lingered
As we watched the new day break
From my balcony window
Him not knowing what to say

After a while I stretched
And yawned
And returned to my sleep
Thinking of you

You stopped me on the street
This morning
On my way to work
We kissed
I was thinking of him
