When the morning moon looks on your face
when the evening Sun shines
bright and clear
Those eyes reflect the love I have

The lashes sound again,
fluttering and wispy
harsh and then not

See the little critters run
a bump rising through the flesh
straight lines and crooked hands
Take from Me what I hold
shining and scintillating,
warped and keen as a weighted dart

Dark shades, slow flights
Hold Me when the song ends
Hold Me when the skies rend,
Take me with You when the rain sends

soft, wet, melting beneath the feet, moors
Dappled light , and gloaming waters
Slivers of flesh, smidgeons of thought
deep into the void      Then to rise again
