Click hereIt reminded me of a passage of JG Ballard's Cocaine Nights where nuns become a topic of conversation: 'All those masturbating sisters mind-fucking Jesus. What could be more erotic?'
Can you do something with the cute little Baby Jesus Butt-Plug next? It would be more seasonable... *grins*
art, subjective, shocking, disturbing, whatever, freedom of speech, something I think we all appreciate and it deserves to be respected because it is her opinion..not sure how I feel about it, need more time to think, I guess, but damn, its making me think..wtg perks
I guess it takes a Perks, eh? :)
Not really sure what Angeline means. I find this poetic. Not aestethig though, but thought provoking. It's a disclocated twisted concept, and as such it works as poetry. It wouldn't work as good without the picture of that...thing though, but I read lots of meaning into the words alone.
...and will there be a post-holiday discount?
What a way to start the day, keep it all in perspective--- Thanks Perks.
Is this art? Sure, why not? It is to Perks, who said what she needed to say. And if you think you're going to hell for casting your eyes on such blasphemy, especially--gasp--on Christmas, why ever are you on this site?
Frankly, it ain't my cup of--oh hell what metaphor works here, lol? It's shocking, not poetic; it's literate, but the only vaguely poetic thing about it to me is the over-the-top hyperbole of the whole idea, so I'll just see it as "art" not "poem."
Anyway Perks has major chutzpah (so did Jesus), which can be pretty poetic in its own way. :-)
