Held prisoner and tortured.
Endlessly interrogated.
Solitarily confined.
Nowhere to run.
Unanimous verdict
Sentenced for life
in my own mind.

Tathagataalmost 20 years agoof that " you are your own worst enemy" saying.
To much thinking and worrying.
In contrast to the others I like it this way
it says just enough ( to me) to let the reader draw their own conclusions and add their own story.
It creates the mood, but doesnt lead you down the path.

Seeing as how it is not, I also think that it could be expanded.
WickedEvealmost 20 years agoI think if there was a little more to this poem, it would help. As it is, I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get across. What you offer the reader seems to be part of a bigger poem that is missing.
