Riding High, then plummeting
into the very bowels
darkness surrounding.
Ensconced safely
In His arms,
she clings as He
rides those roiling tides,
awash in their tangled ,
twined skeins

slowly unravel
one feeding the Other
the Other thirsting one.
Together, they can,
Alone;
just empty husks, slowly withering.

Step off He said
down she fell
that dark embrace
engulfing her in cold flames,
hard places
need looks,

Saw that visage there,
saw Him everywhere,
slowly

Filling the eye
those pain swelled rivulets,
crimson and oozing,
riven through her grace ,
engraved
deep in inside embers
Fly now, bird,
that tether is long
as strands of sun-dipped
cloud girdle.

turns and Returns

Another RazzRajen poem full of crisp and at times cryptic phrases and images.

The poet's preference for uncommon words can make his work a challenge at times, but this one is fairly straight forward and quite pleasing to read.

.

I love this line-

"Fly now, bird,

that tether is long

as strands of sun-dipped

cloud girdle. "
