My heart, my love,
My soul, my life,
The part that makes me whole
You are the light of my day,
The beacon of my night,
The guidepost for my passion,
The reason I wake each day.
My love spans the depth
Of the chasm and extends
Beyond the expanse
of the cosmos.
It’s as true as sight,
As pure as light,
Set forth at the beginning of time
As a thread in the fabric of the universe.
