My Precious Lady

Dreams of you filling my nights,
Are sending my soul flying to unknowable heights.
The stars can not know the journies we share,
For when we are loving 'tis pleasure so rare.
Your heart and mine joining as one,
In this our journey that has just begun,
A road we shall travel hand in hand,
Our footprints together left 'cross time's sand.
Our smiles, our sighs without words say so much,
Oh, the feelings we tell with just a touch,
All are flowing within our souls' bond,
Like the raging currents within the quiet pond.
I will forever love you in all time to come,
Wherever we are together shall indeed be our home.
To show you my love in every possible way,
Shall be my joy throughout each day.
This, my darling, is my gift to you,
My love, my all, for our whole lives through.
