Have you heard of "Sadie Hawkin's Day?"
It comes around one year in four.
It's the time Old Maids hope for and pray,
So they'll not be old maids no more!

It's February the twenty-ninth,
Its a day all bachelors fear.
Cause the gals can propose any time,
And the bachelors have to hear!

This is the day for a wedding bell,
To the old maids who've caught their man.
But to those bachelors caught it's Hell,
It's something they can't hardly stand!

The bachelors who escaped are glad,
They all fall on their knees and pray.
Thank God for escaping the old bags,
Another "Sadie Hawkin's Day!!"
