BUTTERFLIES

By JCSTREET © 2004

I eat
butterflies for breakfast their
dulcet wings
flutter my throat they
fly to my heart
mischief my body
touching deep spaces
no-one
has touched before

I was toying with a phrase:

crushed butterflies. You handled this so wonderfully that I need to rethink my crushed butterflies poem.

*This is your poem. This is your poem not on thermometers. Any questions?
