Relaxed and nervous
the moment waits.
A split second of eternity.
A lifetime to wonder.

So real,
it must be a dream.

Every nerve
Synapse
Cell
Coiled like a mousetrap
Waiting

~~

That moment when time seems to slow to a crawl and all the world's watching.

reminiscent

The illustration was self explanatory. That moment just before the first kiss. Words whispered softly touching the pulse of sensual love. Lovely rendering.

The Moment Waits...

...is a good title, (hint, hint). Though I liked this, I found myself tinkering with order, repetition, and line breaks.

That a poem makes me do this, is good. It's an evocative graphic, L&F!

(As I did tinker a bit, I'll send that to you elsewhere).
