Dusty boots
and swet stain shirt
just getting off
from a long day at work

squeaking squeal
as the front door swings
a patron
the wild wind brings

Roadside shack
on a dry river gulch
back road outpost
for thirsty folks

Maria's Cantina
is not much to see
but full moon nights
she likes to please!

Snappy fingers
and red dress twirls
dancing around
like a dancing girl

In the corner
a spanish guitaro
sombreo, low
singing a solo

Energetic strums
and fibrant fingers
Maria twirled
and trailed her finger

The chances look good
for me tonight
for there were no
customers in sight!

Maria danced
and the Musician played
swirled her hips
around the Bar-maid

sultry shoulders
and wicked grin
crossing the floor
on an erotic wind

Red lips kiss
"How are 'Ya'?"
she whispers
'welcome ...
to Maria's Cantina'
