Click hereI know I am my mother's wishes
I have but to look at her to see me
We speak without words
We sit in silence...
As youth I found her never right
as a young mother I went to her for all
as a grandmother I listen to learn
We sit in silence...
I go to her for knowledge she imparts
She is wisely giving me my path to take
Mother as choices come to me
We sit in silence...
We speak of the past the lost the passing
I know the who and the why's
I impart them upon my heart, for to pass
We don't need to speak...
She shares the living, gives me happiness
We don't need to solve this worlds problems
Leave that to the youth
We are in our Golden years, together somehow.
but you have done a beautiful job at expressing the value of the "meeting of the moms' minds" when we grow up; then grow together. Thank you for this lovely tribute.

Truly demonstrates that mothers are there for us to impart their knowledge and wisdom, no matter how old we are.
Simply touching, and poeticly sitting in silence soaking up the essence of each other, touching.:)
