But I know not who,
But when I do meet him,
Will he love me too?
My heart cries out,
For his touch so new,
But when I do meet him,
Will he love me too?
He is with me at night,
In dreams I go through,
But when I do meet him,
Will he love me too?
I’ll give of my heart,
That I know will be true,
But when I do meet him,
Will he love me too?
I see his face,
With eyes of blue,
But when I do meet him,
Will he love me too?
The light I have seen,
From the stars up above,
Give me hope upon hope,
That I find my true love.
But when I give him my love,
Will he love me too?
