Your words reached into the darkness,
To find a receptive heart.
I know not how or why...
But reaching me they impart...
A yearning, nay longing to be ,
As close to me as I want you to be.

Perhaps I have misunderstood and yet
I feel as close to you as one can get
Separated by only the beats of a rhythmic heart.
The feelings, desires, needs so new and so fresh.
But do you feel the same? I can hope I guess.
Such is the wisdom and words of the age...
Letting such emotions turn like a page
A clearer conception each day will impart...
The image of one tormented soul and heart.

Weep not my friend for if you should say...
I cannot return your feelings this way...
Friends we are now and friends we will stay.
Never more will I speak of these words I say.
Locked deep inside forever they will stay.

Thank you mon ami...
For listening to me
Scribbling these words I shall be
Hoping you're there to listen and see.
Ever the writer and friend to thee.
