A deep and profound
belly offering,
plaited, round and soft.
I am the shimmy and sway
of the white birch leaves
burning in the fall,
the twist and undulations
of swollen rivers and streams.
I am the terrible tremor
of the earthquake.
I am the furious spinning tornado,
and the gentle flow and ebb of the tide.
I am eternal birth and death,
serpent wisdom,
mystery and grace.
Spirit in the body.
... that your poetry would speak to me.
I need to read more. ~ Imp

Pleasant enough.
I agree with Eve, the best lines are:
I am the shimmy and sway
of the white birch leaves
burning in the fall,
I think some of the other images are not new and fresh enough to raise the poem up. But your writing is consistently interesting, and I have a feeling there is much better poetry than this in you.
So many great images throughout this short poem. Well done! Now I'm off to read your other work.

These lines are really nice:
