Haiku ~river~~~~~~~~

Three rivers collide
in harmony
Trinity River

~~~~~~~~~~
A standing oak
arched roots exposed
toes in the river
~~~~~~~~~~~

A Blue Heron
perched on a boyant log
drifts down river

~~~~~~~~~~~
Mud and sand
a brown ribbon trail
Ghost creek
~~~~~~~~~~~

The River
still

moves me

Little haiku

Little haikus, how I like them. I've looked up Trinity River and remembered passing through Texas, seeing it. Its a good muse.
