Life is a Circle

I've always had an image,
of a time so long ago.
When love touched my heart,
and yes I let it go.

I should have seen and known,
how they loved my heart so.
To always carry me through,
Life's little trials and woe.

But oh, those long lost years,
they've come and they've gone.
And now my heart knows,
It's our time, never alone.

For my love they did conclude,
to make a strong decision.
To keep my heart within them,
Like a watch with such precision.

And now that our life's circle,
has never been unbroken.
I've come to love this person,
and forever, it is spoken...
