You say "I'll call you"
The time, like a watery creek
Float away
The days and weeks

And the call
Slips thru the cracks
Because
You weren't going to
Call
Anyway.

Remember
     Your words
 Mirror
    Character and soul
A measure of the
Karma you keep
Or the karma that visits you

And the calls
Kept or failed
Measure and mark
The time
You spend
In
Purgatory

A warning note

To all the guys

With tactless mind

And thoughtless lines;

It all comes back to haunt...
