how this all works
i was just thinking
wish i could put thought
to paper, i have the urge
but nothings there to purge
Yet the moment
i lay my head down
they come swirling around
not when i'm out and about
tiny notebook in purse
for times of such verse
Nor when i have
nothing better to do
when i'm bored out of my mind
No! it's in my sleep
they seek and find
...And ohh they sound so good
up there in my head
when i'm half dead, floating
endlessly in the sea of me
many vanish without a fight
just because i can't find
the damn light!

LeBrozabout 17 years agoAnd I've heard of others who get their inspiration in the middle of the night, quickly writing down those brilliant ideas. Then, in the morning, when they read what they have wrote, it looks like gibberish, worse than any child of 4 would do.
My Erotic Trailalmost 18 years agoI tend to be mused by a shower, I can write a poem in my relaxed mind and by the time I reach the living room dressed and refreashed I struggle to recall the lines <grin ... nice write (~_~)
