Living in the past
a blast from the past
ghost of Emily Bronte
came into my bed
to escape the bitter cold
she cuddled against
my naked body
Emily smiled through
her blue thin lips
I was her Heathcliff
she was my Cathy
wrapped up in our fantasy
floating into the sky
leaving Wuthering Heights
a gust of wind
tore us apart
Emily waved goodbye
gone to join her sisters
she will now
rest in peace
I love you
Emily Bronte
the genius
of Harworth
will never forget
our brief love affair
my beloved sweet Emily.
