Heaven help you now child,
hanging on to words,
you have a substitute for reason,
and you feel it works,

The doubt I feel inside you,
caves in like a wall,
the splinters that feed you,
crumble and they fall,

Won't you let go?

I know you are young,
but can't you learn from the old,
He'll grab you like a rag doll,
and beat you till you fold,

I don't think you know passion like I do,
Because in your mind I haven't got a clue.
Wont you let go?
Of this reason before reason takes you where you dont want to be.

Do I have to show you bruises?
Do you want to share scars?
I can outweigh your sorrow,
I can show you a fall,

You are only fifteen and you think you're immortal,

Heaven help you now child,
hanging on to words,
you have a substitute for reason,
and you feel it works,

The doubt I feel inside you,
caves in like a wall,
the splinters that feed you,
crumble and they fall,

Won't you let go?
