The soul
A constant battle
Between emotion and intellect
No side can ever truly win
There are only degrees of the battle’s intensity
Happiness is not a balance
But a state brought on by ignorance
Or avoidance
Life is just trying to delay the inevitable
Loss of both sides
To be consumed by bliss
The predicator of angst
That which is the source of all motivation
Prepares one more spade full of earth
Four
By seven
By six
Twelve yards of earth
Give or take
The weight of that
And then the stone too
