Does a tree
that stands much taller
see alot farther
than a sapling
in its shade
Does a tree
that reaches much higher
feel the sun
burn alot hotter
so they shade
the younger trees
feeling they need
a sun-screen
and protects them
from a strong breeze
or do you feel a tree
is just a tree?

or so it seems
not to ask what tree does
but what it dreams

If a tree is just a tree
then poetry is not in thee.
