Curse this comfort zone
for wielding its scalpel,
piercing fear
from the lullaby net
of her safety.

Tranced in
this rocking bassinet
world,
we remain your
petrified relic,
our chambers
unfurled.

~~

Quite the juxtaposition of imagery;

Felt its impact more on the cafe with that soft blue background.

{no alt at the cafe; just peek in from time to time}
